Segment D: Family Food: Jamie & Bobby Deen & National Diabetes Initiative - POSTPONED (we are rescheduling for another day!)
Food Network and Cooking Channel stars Bobby and Jamie Deen, sons of American cooking star Paula Deen, have been key parts of their mother Paula's team since she announced she had type 2 diabetes a little over a year ago, helping her take small steps to improve her health. In addition to eating healthier, she's made exercise a bigger part of her life and has been working closely with her doctor to manage her diabetes. Now Bobby and Jamie are encouraging others to make one small change to help control their diabetes by sharing Paula's five steps and inspiring approach. HearSay talks with Paula's sons about their mom and their new initiatives.
