Cathy Lewis will discuss these challenges with academics, a journalist, and one of our lawmakers. He will talk to Cathy Lewis about his new book: Disrupt, Discredit and Divide: How the New FBI Damages Democracy. What do you think about America's security policies in the 21st Century? Then, we will talk to a New York Times reporter about the legacy of the slave trade in America. And finally, in a time when everyone on social media can claim expertise, how do we know what's true?

Naro Expanded Video, a treasure to many in the Norfolk and Ghent community, will sadly close its doors at the end of August. You can join them for a final farewell celebration on August 25th. Also, we speak with the Outreach Coordinator for Norfolk's Women, Infants and Children Program. We then hear from Kathy Spangler about the 1619 Commemoration at Fort Monroe. Turns out it isn't always that simple, as we'll talk to a Virginia delegate who spent over a decade in public service only to find out that he is not eligible for loan forgiveness.
