HearSay BOOK CLUB
Inspired by Virginia's statewide Big Read initiative we've started a book club! Our current selection is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson. We hope you'll read along with our staff and join us for a discussion of the book on Thursday, March 25th.

Spiritually Speaking
Cathy is joined quarterly by a roundtable of religious leaders from Hampton Roads to discuss recent headlines with a religious element.

We’ve also added some additional regular features to the HearSay schedule.  Here’s what you can expect:

Mondays:  Occasional essays from Tom Robotham of TreeHouse Magazine:  A Magazine of Possibilities
Tuesdays:  Paul Shugrue’s review of his CD of the Week - Out of the Box
Thursdays:  The Your 757 Minute, featuring events coming up the next weekend

Get Out in Hampton Roads!

Are you part of a non-profit organization hosting an upcoming event in Hampton Roads? Would you like to get the word out to members of the community who might like to attend? All you have to do is send along a press release with the pertinent information for the event and Cathy will share it with our listeners on-air during HearSay as the event approaches. This segment will air during our regular ‘YourSay’ segments on HearSay and on other days as time allows. We do our best to include all of the events that are sent to hearsay@whrv.org, but please note that we cannot guarantee coverage of every event due to the high volume of submissions that we receive. We also cannot tell you exactly when your event information will air, but all the more reason to tune in! Please use the subject line 'Get Out!' when submitting events via e-mail. Another great resource for publicizing information for events in Hampton Roads is your757.com.  See you out on the town!
