Life After Graduation

The future for today's college graduates may not be as bright as it once was.  The rising cost of college tuition has left many students saddled with a financial burden that can make breaking into today's super-competitive job market all the more problematic.  An increasing number of young adults are taking low paying jobs after college and moving back in with their parents to make ends meet.  In the midst of commencement season, HearSay host Cathy Lewis will be exploring what is waiting for this year's grads  in the "real world" and what they can do to mitigate these new challenges.

Scheduled Guests:

Bill Holland, Ph.D - Author, Cracking the New Job Market: The 7 Rules for Getting Hired in Any Economy, Are There Any Good Jobs Left?, and Career Management in the Age of the Disposable Worker

Heidi Shierholz - Economist, Economic Policy Institute

Tom Wunderlich - Assistant Dean, Career Management Center at Old Dominion University
