Summer Jobs
Many of us can recall cashing our first paycheck, which was likely earned at a summer job worked during our teen years. While unemployment rates remain high across the board, 9.9% in April, the rate among workers in their teens is even higher, 25.4%. Teens and recent graduates are facing a competitive market for both jobs and internships where they are competing with more experienced job seekers.
